FPRHA Board Minutes October 17, 2008 5:30 PM
Attending: Leigh Pytlinski, Sue Abrams, Cliff Fischer, Betsy Baltzer, Allan Meyer, Shirley Meyer, Hugh Smith, Jean Torro
Purpose of meeting:
· To address FPRHA compliance of Senate Bills 100 with lawyers
· Discuss budget items for 2008-2009
Outcomes for SB 100:
· FP Board will provide the following to lawyers:
Existing rules for pool and tennis
11/18/05 amended FP Bylaws
· Moved to amend FP Bylaws to bring us into compliance with Senate Bill 100 and include provision for creating new rules.
· Add new rules recommended by the FP Homeowners Improvement Committee following the December 3rd Annual Board meeting
FPHIC will meet to create enforcement rules process
· Share what SB 100 is and why it is important at the December 3rd Annual Board meeting
· Lawyers will send opinion letter to share with neighbors stating status of compliance with SB 100
Outcomes for Budget Items:
· Need to submit budget revisions for 08-09 to Allan as soon as possible
· Create separate line items for major expenses/projects
· Budget meeting October 22nd (Allan, Allen, Hugh, Leigh, Cliff)
Other:
· Betsy will contact Mary Habig to set up meeting with public works to discuss Dry Creek border updates and financial responsibilities.
· New slate of officers to be voted in December 3rd include:
Leigh Pytlinski, President
Sue Abrams, Vice-President
Betsy Baltzer, Social Events
Hugh Smith
Sandy Hubbard
Kathleen Packer
· Board positions and responsibilities will be updated and revised
by new board in January 2009
· Board will need to determine whether a rule should be added that requires the board president to have held an alternate board position prior to becoming president for one or more years.
· Next FPRHA scheduled for November 6th at 7PM
