We would like to spotlight some neighbors who, without solicitation or recognition, have been making our neighborhood more attractive. Please let the board know, or post a message, if you know of others who should be acknowledged.
Thank You to Don Hayden
Don has mowed and maintained the greenbelt behind Elizabeth Way for many years. In addition to volunteering countless hours to beautify the greenbelt and keep the drainage areas clear, Don also worked with South Suburban Parks and Recreation to secure a fund-matching grant for new trees in the greenbelt. He and some other neighbors on Elizabeth Way have committed to water and maintain the trees until they are established.
Thank you for making our neighborhood more attractive.
Thank You to Thai Shih
Mr Shih planted some new trees along Dry Creek Road, near the Detroit entrance. He has also joined forces with Sandy Hubbard, Kathleen Packer and some others to clean up trash, cut down suckers and improve the look of the area along Dry Creek Road.
Thank You Nanette Gray
Nanette was spotted trimming branches and cleaning up the Jamison Street entrance. Thank You.

Entrance Clean Up
Kathleen Packer and the Beautification committee would like to thank the following community volunteers for cleaning up the entrances East of Detroit and West of Fillmore: Jerry Allen, Jeff Dekruif, Julie Dekruif, Andrew Dekruif, and Matthew Dekruif. Bob Packer delivered the truck load of weeds and limbs to Oxford Recycle.
We are grateful for your assistance.
