We are excited to announce that the pool will open on Monday, June 8! As you can imagine, rules for using the pool will look quite different than in past years. Please be sure to review all of the information below as well as the 2020 pool rules.
To get started swimming, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Review the 2020 Pool Rules & Restrictions
The pool rules look quite different this year! Please take time to read through the 2020 Pool Rules & Restrictions. These are important in adhering to state, county, and CDC guidelines.
Step 2: Register Your Household
We ask that all Forest Park residents complete the 2020 Pool Access & Registration form. This is necessary to maintain security and access to the neighborhood pool by Forest Park residents only (children included). In addition, for 2020 there are rules and regulations due to COVID-19 that will require more restrictive access to the pool. Homeowners with long-term renters are required to complete the 2020 Pool Registration for Long Term Renters in order to allow lessees to access the pool. In this case, the homeowner relinquishes these rights to a lessee for a defined period of time.
Step 3: Sign Necessary Waivers
Waivers are required for morning lap swimming, and unaccompanied underage swimmers at the pool.
Step 4: Make a Swim Reservation
Reservations are required, since we can only have 50 people in the facility at one time. Walk-ins may be allowed on a limited basis, depending on how full the pool is. Reservations are required for lap swimming. Please visit the 2020 Pool Rules & Reservations page to reserve a time block.
Step 5: Be Prepared!
When preparing for your trip to the pool, remember these unique rules:
Bring a photo ID to check-in. Lifeguards must be able to confirm who you are against the list of Forest Park residents and those who have completed Access & Registration form.
No guests. Due to the unique circumstances this year, no guests or parties are allowed.
Children under 12 need adult supervision; Children over 12 need a waiver. All children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Children age 12-17 who plan on swimming at the pool unaccompanied must have an adult check them in at the pool, or have a photo ID (like a driver's license) and have a parent complete an Underage Accompanied Swimmer waiver in advance.
No grilling. The grill is not available for use this year under current restrictions.
Bring your own bag for trash. No trash cans are allowed, so please collect your own trash and take it with you.
Lounge chairs and personal chairs. Lounge chairs will be spaced apart and cleaned regularly, and cannot be moved. If you feel more comfortable bringing your own chairs, please do so.
Bring your own water. The drinking fountain and bottle filler have been disabled.
No pool toys allowed. No toys allowed other than floaties necessary for babies or very small children.
Bring a mask and hand sanitizer. Masks will be required when entering/exiting the restrooms.
No keycard required, except for morning lap swimming. Keycards will not be used this year, as all entrance to the pool will be monitored through the check-in process with a lifeguard. Morning lap swimmers still need to use a keycard for entrance.
Lost-and-Found is not allowed. Please make sure you have everything with you, as all belongings left behind will be thrown away.
Review all rules! Review the full list of rules and regulations in the 2020 Pool Rules & Restrictions.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we get the pool up and running under these unique circumstances! We are excited to open the pool and see you all. Please reach out with any questions.
