FROM THE BOARD
November 5, 2019
The autumn and winter months are upon us! Even though the weather is cooled off and we've begun to retreat into our homes more often, we do have a few things to keep in mind...
Forest Park Annual Meeting
The Forest Park Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 5 at 7:00-8:30pm, at Southglenn Library. All homeowners and tenants are encouraged to attend. Documents have been sent out via mail and email. We look forward to seeing you there!
Electronic Dues Statements
We have quarterly dues coming up on December 31! We offer electronic statements for HRA dues, as well as the option for paying electronically. If you'd like to receive e-statements (as opposed to paper statements in the mail), please email email@example.com and include your Name, Forest Park Address, and the Email address you'd like to receive statements to.
Drive Slowly Through our Streets
Just as a friendly reminder, please remember to drive slowly through our neighborhood streets. Traffic on our roads appears to have increased, and we have been selected for a traffic study by Centennial which we hope to know the results of soon. Regardless, we can all do our part in driving slowly, especially in these snowy months.
Thank you and please reach out to us with any questions or concerns!
The Forest Park HRA Board
2019 BOARD MEMBERS
Nate has been a Forest Park resident since the fall of 2016. He and his wife, Angela, have twin boys who are 11 years old. Nate is a computer engineer for Lockheed Martin and enjoys spending time at the pool and working on projects around the house in his free time.
VICE PRESIDENT & COMMUNICATIONS
Sarah has lived in Forest Park since 2014 with her husband (Mike), their 4-year-old and 1-year-old boys, and their Golden Retriever and cat. Sarah works as an instructional designer at CU Denver. You can find Sarah and her family walking to the park, at the pool, or exploring local breweries.
Amy Stivers has lived in Forest Park since 2006 with her husband Paul, daughter Madeline (age 13), and son Donovan (age 11). During the school year, she works as a school psychologist at Highlands Ranch High School. She’s always looking for an adventure and enjoys her summers off to be able to travel with the family. Amy enjoys spending time with friends in the outdoors camping, hiking, watching the kids play sports, skiing and snowboarding, listening to live music, and of course swimming at the Forest Park pool. The Stivers just love the small-town feel of Forest Park and savor all of the neighborhood social events because it’s always fun to hang out with your neighbors.
Neal and his wife Sarah frequented the pool and parties in Forest Park long before they moved here, thanks to great family and friends in the neighborhood. When they were expecting their third child, they (mainly Sarah) decided that they had outgrown their previous home, and Forest Park was a natural target for an upgrade. In 2013, they found a house and made an offer before it even hit the market. In their spare time, the Carters enjoy spending time in the mountains, in movie theaters, and at the pool. Neal joined the board in 2018 as a way to serve Forest Park and help keep the soul, charm, and friendliness of the neighborhood intact.
