Dear Forest Park Homeowners,
Since March, the Forest Park Homeowners Recreation Association has been working with Association Reserves to facilitate the Forest Park Reserve Study. The purpose of a reserve study is to anticipate, evaluate and prepare for an association’s major common area repair and replacement expenses. This is used to create a reserve funding plan to provide for the reserve needs of the association. Reserve contributions are designed to offset the ongoing, daily deterioration of our common area assets.
We have two community meetings planned and have included the Association Reserves Executive Summary for your review. The purpose of these meetings is to present their findings, discuss our options and decide how we, as a community, would like to move forward. We encourage all homeowners to attend because we are looking for feedback prior to finalizing our 2024 budget. As you know, we will vote for the budget in our annual meeting scheduled for the end of November.
We are holding the reserve study meetings on August 20, 2023, at 4 pm and September 10, 2023, at 4 pm, on our tennis court so please bring a chair. Since we are trying to conserve resources, we will not have any printed copies of the Executive Summary at the meeting.
