Forest Park HRA Community Reminder

~PLEASE READ~

The Forest Park Board has received several recent neighborhood complaints and would like to remind residents that Forest Park is a Homeowners Recreation Association (HRA), not an HOA. As an HRA, the Board does not have authority to enforce most property maintenance issues. Many concerns, however, may fall under City of Centennial ordinances.

Common City Ordinance Reminders:

  • Dogs must be leashed (maximum 10-foot leash) when off the owner's property.

  • Trees and shrubs must not obstruct sidewalks; branches over sidewalks must maintain 8 feet of clearance.

  • Leaves may not be blown or raked into streets, gutters, or storm drains. Residents are required to properly bag and dispose of leaves.

  • Trash and recycling containers may be on the street (not on sidewalks) for collection for up to 24 hours, then must be stored out of street view.

  • Grass and weeds may not exceed 8 inches in height.

  • Inoperable or abandoned vehicles are prohibited unless properly screened or stored in an enclosed structure.

  • While snow removal is not required for single-family homes, the City encourages clearing sidewalks within 24 hours after snowfall.

Residents may report potential code violations anonymously through any of the following methods:

  • City of Centennial Report a Problem Portal

  • My Centennial mobile app

  • Centennial Animal Services: 303-325-8070

  • 24-Hour Citizen Response Center: 303-325-8000

For emergencies or situations involving an immediate threat to safety:

  • Call 911

  • Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office Non-Emergency Line: 303-795-4711

Friendly Reminder: Being considerate of our neighbors and maintaining our properties helps keep Forest Park safe, attractive, and welcoming for everyone. Thank you for doing your part!

E-Statements & Communications

As the world evolves, so do our communication & billing practices. We are beginning to push more emails/newsletters via Wix.com. This change in email servers has caused some of our mailings to be directed to spam folders. We apologize for this, but there is a fix! Please add Forest Park, fphra80122@gmail.com to your email contacts. If you use Gmail, here is a quick tutorial.

Sign up for e-statements! This is the best, easiest, most convenient, and economical way to pay your quarterly or yearly dues. Buying stamps & stationery, printing, and getting volunteers to stuff envelopes every quarter is costly and time-consuming. If you haven't already, please email us, and we will be happy to enroll you.

Would you like to pay your dues annually? Send us a quick email requesting an annual statement.

Would you be interested in opting in for text messages from Forest Park HRA?? This would give you updates on what is going on around the neighborhood or anything you may be missing on the emails! Please let us know by emailing us so we can see if there is enough interest in that.
